The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia visited BCCI

The newly appointed Ambassador of Serbia in Bulgaria, Mr. Vladimir Curguz, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry where he met with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. The First Counsellor of Economical Affairs at the Serbian Embassy in Sofia, Mr. Aleksandar Milicevic, also took part in the meeting. 
 
Bilateral cooperation was discussed during the talk; it was also highlighted that the forthcoming visit of the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic to Bulgaria shall be an important step into the development of the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Serbia. During his visit the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize a business forum jointly with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of Serbia in Sofia. Besides the formal part involving the participation of the presidents of Serbia and Bulgaria, bilateral meetings between representatives of the businesses will be expected as well. 
 
The Serbian side is interested in cooperation with Bulgarian partners of the following economic sectors: construction, information technology, energy, chemical industry, electrical engineering and metallurgy, agriculture and food industry, textiles, machinery, transport, tourism.
