Meeting with H. E. Mr. Fares Eid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lebanese Republic in Bulgaria
H. E. Mr. Fares Eid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lebanese Republic, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with its President, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce the Ambassador to the activities of the Chamber and the possibilities of future cooperation. Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov presented the main directorates and departments of BCCI, as well as the services provided by the Chamber and the information materials it issues.
In spite of his short, 4-month stay in Bulgaria Ambassador Fares Eid has already managed to conduct a personal research of the Lebanese companies in our country and has visited some Lebanese businessmen in Assenovgrad, Plovdiv and Varna. He highlighted the fact that Bulgaria, except as a business partner, is also known as a destination for the Lebanese students.
The guest shared the opinion that he was highly impressed by the archaeological heritage of Bulgaria and the country’s potential to develop the tourist industry.
BCCI’s President expressed willingness to cooperate for the development of the bipartite trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Lebanon.
