BCCI asked the authorities to transfer administrative services to business organizations
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in an academic discussion on the Development Strategy for Public Administration 2013-2020, published on the website of the Council of Ministers.
"In general BCCI supports the draft of the strategy, as it is consistent with the initiative to reduce the administrative and regulatory burden on business and the Program for Better Regulation 2010-2013 and the objectives that the Chamber upholds in its positions should be included as well", Vasil Todorov – BCCI Secretary General said in his presentation.
He outlined the expectations of Bulgarian business in several directions:
Ø Transfer of administrative services and lighter regulatory regimes from the public authorities to business organizations which have the capacity to implement them - through competition and abiding by legally defined criteria;
Ø Expeditious introduction of the principle of "implicit consent" in the special laws;
Ø Expeditious introduction of the procedures for electronic services for companies and citizens by the administration which, in addition to the positive effects such as speed and economy, will be an important tool to curb corruption.
