The newly accredited Ambassador of Syria to Bulgaria visited BCCI
The economic relations between Bulgaria and Syria were discussed during a meeting held at BCCI by the newly accredited Ambassador of Syria to Bulgaria Ms. Nadra Sayaf and the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov. Both parties expressed hope for quick and peaceful resolution of the situation in Syria and the region, as well as for improving the business climate. They agreed to provide practical information to businesses regarding public procurements in Syria and opportunities for investment and business.
Ambassador Sayaf said that there is potential for cooperation between companies from the two countries in the field of heavy industry because most of the production facilities in the sector, which were located in Allepo, no longer function.
Tsvetan Simeonov proposed to strengthen the cooperation between BCCI, the Embassy and partner organizations in Syria.
