Meeting with Vietnam’s New Commercial Counselor

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsvetan Simeonov, held a meeting with representatives of the Commercial Section at the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Bulgaria.

During the meeting, the outgoing Commercial Counselor Nguyen Thanh Hai announced the end of his term of office and introduced his colleague Vu Viet Thanh who is now assuming the duties of a Commercial Counselor.

The BCCI President thanked Mr Hai for his good cooperation and active work to develop the Bulgarian-Vietnamese trade and economic relations and awarded him an honorary Diploma for the joint work. For almost three years now, BCCI has actively collaborated with the Trade and Economic Department of the Embassy of Vietnam, organising numerous activities, aimed at stimulating economic cooperation.

The Embassy representatives provided information about a forthcoming international exhibition, namely the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo, which will take place in the period from 3 to 5 September 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.
