Prof. Alexander Chirkov and BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov discussed the state of Bulgarian healthcare system



During a meeting held at BCCI, the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov and Prof. Alexander Chirkov discussed the state of the Bulgarian healthcare system and the need for more transparency in its work and control over spending. 
 
In the meantime, more efforts should be put towards adopting the international standards in all spheres of healthcare – cost of medicines, medical equipment and last but not least improving the qualification of medical staff so that it complies with international standards.
 
Prof. Alexander Chirkov’s project for building a medical facility in the city of Varna can serve as an example for this. It is still possible for investors to join in the project.
