Meeting of the Presidents of the Bulgarian and the Ukrainian Chambers of Commerce and Industry
During his visit to Kiev in relation to the ongoing forum of the International Organisation of Employers, the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, met with the President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) , Mr. Gennady Chizhikov. The meeting was attended also by the UCCI Vice-President, Mr. Sergey Svistel, who has recently visited Bulgaria.
The main focal points of the conversation were aimed at the Ukrainian Chamber’s willingness to use the experience and the achievements of BCCI, in particular the ones related to the voluntary Unified Trade Register of the legal entities and the activities of the arbitration.
The attention was drawn to the expectancy of a great beneficial effect from using the experience of BCCI in the process of Ukraine’s joining the EU, and the utilization of the capacity of the various projects for improving the business environment and the International standing of the companies.
Guidelines for extended cooperation through the activities of the Bulgarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry (BUCI) were outlined as well.
