BCCI launched the "Partnership for Changes" project under Operation "Social Partnership"

The project is implemented with the financial support of the Human Resources Development Program 2021 - 2027

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in its capacity as a nationally representative organization of employers, launched the "Partnership for Change" project under the "Social Partnership" operation with the financial support of the HRD 2021 – 2027.

In the conditions of the double transition, consisting of the digital and green transformation, which gives rise to new challenges and leads to changes in the business environment and in the labor market, BCCI aims to support the adaptation of employers and employed persons to these changes. Through the implementation of the project, the Chamber is looking for innovative solutions to speed up this process.

On March 12, Tuesday, the opening hybrid event of the project was held, where the goals, planned activities and expected results of its implementation were presented, and various aspects of digital and sustainable transformation were discussed, as well as ways of accelerating them. The regional representatives of the BCCI, representatives of the branch organizations and other interested parties took part in the discussion online.

Through the implementation of the project:

We will also look for ways to stimulate geographical labor mobility in the country to overcome imbalances in the territorial distribution of employed persons with certain skills and professions.

Targeted actions will be taken to increase the capacity of the Chamber's regional and branch structures for their more active participation in social dialogue and collective bargaining, as well as in all stages of the European Semester cycle and in the development of industrial relations in the context of Industry 4.0.

Lifelong learning models will be developed at corporate, sector and regional level.

Training programs will be prepared for the management staff of the companies to successfully manage the changes in business processes caused by the transition to a circular economy.

The participants of the event, representatives of business and branch organizations, entrepreneurs, consultants, trade unionists and journalists made comments and gave concrete proposals in relation to the promotion of labor mobility in the country, models and strategies for lifelong learning and the challenges for business caused from the green transformation. All those present supported the activities of the project and expressed their willingness to actively assist in their implementation.
