BCCI hosted bilateral meetings with Iranian entrepreneurs

Vasil Todorov, Secretary General of BCCI, officially launched bilateral meetings with Iranian entrepreneurs at the Chamber. The event was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sofia and the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

The Secretary General of the Chamber pointed out that the Iranian market is of particular interest to Bulgarian companies. He expressed the Chamber’s support for the organization of such joint initiatives in order to develop the untapped potential in the bilateral trade and economic relations. Mr. Todorov informed that BCCI and the Embassy are working in cooperation to update the programme for the upcoming visit to Iran.

Mr. Hassan Doutaghi, Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sofia said that such initiatives are a valuable opportunity for the development of commercial relations between Iran and Bulgaria. He urged more Bulgarian companies interested in the Iranian market to take part in the upcoming events.

Mr. Ayatollah Ahmadi, Vice-President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province and head of the business delegation outlined the main sectors of mutual interest: agriculture, sea products, horse breeding, household equipment, medicines, tourism, etc.
