BCCI has started to work on a new European project called FactCheck

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry starts to work on a new European project FactCheck /Adapting quality of VET offer to the needs of industry in the manufacturing sector/. The project is aimed at adapting the professional education and training to the needs of the labour market, the new skills in the context of Industry 4.0; the promotion of digital tools in teaching.

The duration of the project is 24 months and includes partners from 5 countries - Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Spain and Poland. The main activities of the project include skills assessment, survey among companies, creation of a European training module, online platform, analysis and trainings. The project will focus on the metalworking and mechanical engineering sectors.

The partner organizations were presented and information about the upcoming activities, website and logo of the project were discussed during the first project online meeting. The participants presented up-to-date information on digitization in the production sector, the new skills that companies need after the covid crisis, and professional training.
