Rousse Free Zone is the largest and most developed in Bulgaria. At present there are built-up areas on the surface of 377 500 sq.m. On its territory are situated 29 industrial buildings with total build-up area of 30 000 sq.m., there are  20 000 sq.m. of open storage areas, parking lots, trans-shipment railroad station, depot for light-oil petroleum products and administrative building suited for the needs of its  clients.

At present on the territory of Rousse Free Zone operate a distribution center for packaging and labeling of textile products, production facility for assembling of machines for the heavy industry, workshop for production, engineering and installation of vessels, etc.

Rousse Free Zone is considered to be the most developed logistic and industrial center on the territory of Rousse region.

The infrastructure of Rousse Free Zone includes:

- own road and railway approaches;
- railway loading/unloading station with four tracks and capacity of handling cargo and containers up to 32 tons;
- railway ramp facility;
- transloading vehicle ramp;
- depot for light-oil petroleum products with a capacity of 40 000 m3;
- Port for public transport of regional significance equipped for bunkering and mooring of river vessels. Port delimitation from km. 487.900 up to km. 487.500;
- 60-ton truck scales capable of control measuring of the axle load;
- petrol station;

Rousse Free Zone is gasified, electrified, water supplied and has telecommunications, Internet and sewerage system.

At present in the industrial-logistics center is being built an intermodal terminal.
