The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a partner of Annual Investment Meeting, would like to inform you that the AIM 2023: “Investment Paradigm Shift: Future Investment Opportunities to Foster Sustainable Economic Growth, Diversity, and Prosperity”, will take place from 8-10 May 2023 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

AIM 2023 is assembling all parties — including governments, SMEs, startups, and investors — to manage this “Investment Paradigm Shift” for the good of the entire world — countries, societies, communities, and economies. 

As the world is currently recovering from the Corona pandemic, the investment landscape is going through a PARADIGM SHIFT that will transform capital markets and the entire investment world. The global economy is adapting to the “new normal”, with factors that are accelerating the new paradigm. Disruptive technologies, climate change, and the pandemic are challenges that have recently been facing the global economy. Inflation pressures are consequently spreading everywhere in a way that is expected to trigger tighter financial conditions and, thereby, make access to investment finance for SMEs and also FDI more difficult. Also, geopolitical tensions and war have seen major effects on commodity markets, supply chains, and financial conditions that have steepened the slowdown in global economic growth.

However, FDI is on the rise again with digital technologies and sustainability as the main drivers for success. To stay ahead, companies need to accelerate the development of their digital services and technological innovations. Also, the need for investment in Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) and inclusivity is paramount to the success of FDI.

AIM 2023 new THEME aims to shed light on and offer solutions to the current challenges and obstacles that are facing the current investment climate. It’s giving the world a new window of opportunity for economic growth, welfare, and progress.
