About CCI-Shumen

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Shumen was established at 24.10.1991 as an independent, non-government, non-profit organization. Together with other similar organizations, we are representing the employers in the tri-party committee, which also includes the Ministerial Council and the Trade unions. Our activities are aimed at the promotion of  the interests of private business by making proposals for amendments regarding assistance with economic activities, regulations and laws to the committees of the National Council. CCI - Shumen is member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Sofia (BCCI). The Chamber's activity is managed by a Board of Directors, that elects the Chairman, approves the business plan and the budget. CCI-Shumen represents 350member companies from the Region of Shumen.

Mission statement

The main purpose of CCI-Shumen is to contribute actively to the economic reforms in Bulgaria through supporting development of private business, establishing opportunities for the local companies, facilitating and stimulating of the international trade connections and promoting foreign investments.

Main activities

  Registration of companies in the Trade Register of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

  Certifying of export documents, business invitations and other certifications required by the BCCI

  Visa bureau - CCI-Shumen assumes the role of a guarantor for companies engaged in foreign trade, assisting them in obtaining business visas to Turkey and Greece

  Consultation bureau for taxation, customs tariffs and procedures, legislation regarding economic activities

  Organizing business meetings, exhibitions, company presentations, seminars

  Assisting producer companies with participation in fairs - in Bulgaria and abroad

  Internet services

  Up-to-date information about goods, partners and commodities markets.
