The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the European Chamber of Commerce of Cambodia is organizing a presentation on "Cambodian Economy". The following topics will be presented in the presentation: Cambodia Economy Review - Facts, Why Invest in Cambodia, Major Economic Sectors, Challenges, Assisted by the European Cambodian Chamber of Commerce. The presentation will take place in the building of the BCCI, 9, Iskar Street, floor 1, hall A on 23^rd  of  October 2017 at 10.00AM. The main lecturer is Mr. Fabrice Bernard, Manager at the European Chamber of Commerce of Cambodia.

Cambodia is a member of the ASEAN and has a central location among Southeastern Asian countries. According to the Ministry of Economy, Cambodia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for 2014 is by 7%. GDP per capita for 2014 is $ 1,136. In 2014, domestic inflation is 3.5%. Cambodia achieved industrial growth of 9.7% in 2014, in agriculture - 4.3%, in the services sector - 6.6%. The banking, construction and tourism sectors are favorably developing. The country ranks 10th in Asian clothing exports, eighth in the world of rice production. Cambodia is one of the fastest growing countries in Southeast Asia.
