Economic forum in Sofia in connection with the visit of the Spanish Foreign Minister

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the Economic Forum in connection with the official visit to Bulgaria of the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mr. José Manuel García-Margallo.
 
The Minister of Economy of Bulgaria Mr. Bozhidar Lukarski opened officially the event and presented detailed information about the partnership between Bulgaria and Spain, the development of the bilateral economic relations, the macroeconomic situation in our country and the incentives for attracting foreign investors.
 
Mr. José Manuel García-Margallo presented the whole process of recovery of the Spanish economy from the crisis and the results achieved. He said that there is untapped potential in the bilateral relations with Bulgaria and presented the sectors of mutual interest: infrastructure, railway projects, seaports, water and waste treatment.
 
Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, the BCCI President, opened the discussion with questions to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, relating to harmonization of taxes in Europe and the necessity of the economization of diplomacy.
