Kazakhstan with good business opportunities for the Bulgarian companies









“Kazakhstan: Favorable Investment Climate” was subject of the business seminar organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Bulgaria. 
 
At the opening of the seminar, the BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov outlined the increased interest of Bulgarian entrepreneurs and traders in the opportunities of doing business in Kazakhstan in less than a year. Mr. Simeonov said that the potential for the development in economic terms between the two countries has not been used at its most yet. He presented some data about the joint cooperation of the Chamber with organisations from Kazakhstan, information about the companies and trade representative offices of Kazakhstan registered in the Trade Register of the BCCI.
 
H.E. Mr. Temirtay Izbastin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Sofia outlined the business climate. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan gave also information about the priority sectors for investments in the country in view of possible investment projects and special economic zones, the specifics of the location of the country, transport and logistics systems, legislation on labor relations and the steps for registration of enterprises in the Asian country, the fees and taxes.  
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan presented also the Eurasian Union to which the country became member in January 2015, as well as the upcoming international exhibition EXPO 2017 entitled “Energy for the Future”.
 
More than 50 representatives of companies attended the event. 
 
BCCI and the Embassy of Kazakhstan expressed readiness for cooperation towards the development of the bilateral relations, to networking and support to Bulgarian companies investing in Kazakhstan.
