Electronic mediation platform will offer the business quick and effective alternative dispute resolution

A work meeting of the e-MEDIATION project partners was held at BCCI. Representatives of the Chamber, the Law and Internet Foundation and Dextro Research Ltd. discussed the progress of the project whose main aim is to promote “mediation culture” throughout the Bulgarian society and develop an electronic platform for mediation in online environment. The idea behind the concept of the platform is for the business to have a quick and effective tool for alternative dispute resolution, which can be used from any part of the world and from the comfort of one’s office. The mediators who will guide the platform’s e-mediation procedures will be from the Mediation Center at the Court of Arbitration at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The platform is expected to be completed by the end of May, when a series of events for its launch will be held in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas and Varna.
