BCCI – host of Business Forum Sofia-Taipei

BCCI hosted the 5^th Business Forum Sofia-Taipei, which was organized in cooperation with the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) and TAITRA-Sofia.

The event was opened by Tsvetan Simeonov, President of BCCI, who stressed the importance of such events which give the opportunity for direct contact and finding potential partners on the Bulgarian market. He shared his impressions from his 2016 work visit to Taiwan and said that the Taiwanese business is reliable, innovative and high-tech.

Fred Huang, Vice-Chairman of CIECA also pointed out that the economy of Taiwan is aimed at development of innovation, technology and green energy.

Yaw-Huei Wang, Economic Counsellor at the Economic Division of Taipei Representative Office in Greece also welcomed the participants in the forum.

A presentation of the investment and business climate in Bulgaria was made by Madzhide Ahmedova, Vice-Executive Director of Invest Bulgaria Agency. The presentation is available HERE.

Bulgarian ecology and tourism were presented by Lyuboslav Barzanov from Association “Health, Ecology, Tourism”.

The forum continued with bilateral meetings by interests.
