H.E. Maria Donska, newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Cuba, also accredited to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, met with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and presented her priorities in the economic sphere for her upcoming term of office.
The latest developments of the traditionally good relations with Bulgaria were discussed, the changes in the economic outlook of Cuba and the resulting opportunities, which can be offered to the Cuban partners by the Bulgarian business. The Memorandum of Understanding between BCCI and Cuba Chamber of Commerce renewed in 2016 was another topic of discussion.
The parties agreed that the Embassy and BCCI will explore the interest for cooperation between entrepreneurs from the two countries and will contribute to its future development through the exchange of economic information and inquiries received.
