BCCI awarded the Director of Confindustria Bulgaria and Confindustria Balcani Roberto Mascali with an Honorary Diploma

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry awarded the Director of Confindustria Bulgaria and Confindustria Balcani Roberto Mascali with an Honorary Diploma for his active cooperation with BCCI and support for the development of the bilateral trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Italy during his term of office. The Diploma was presented by the Secretary General of BCCI Vasil Todorov. The Chamber expressed its readiness to cooperate in future initiatives aimed at supporting Bulgarian and Italian business.

Mascali presented the new Director of the organization for Bulgaria Mila Nenova.

BCCI works in cooperation with Confindustria at international level within the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Organization of Employers (IOE). Confindustria Bulgaria is among the leading partners in the Club of Joint Chambers at BCCI.

During Roberto Mascali’s term of office, Confinduaria hosted the 12th traditional meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chamber and participated as a partner in the organization of a number of events, including a conference on “Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP): SMEs Perspective”, organized jointly with BCCI and the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.

In 2016, BCCI as the coordinator of the nationally representative organizations of employers supported the initiative of Confindustria, in which Mascali was an active participant, to revise Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods.
