Bulgaria – Venezuela Business Forum



In the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Bulgaria – Venezuela Business Forum took place, organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Representatives of BCCI, heads of the Venezuelan mission in Bulgaria, and companies from the two countries took part in the Forum.

The Forum was opened by the Vice President of BCCI Georgi Stoev, who welcomed the participants and the business representatives’ enthusiasm for developing and strengthening the economic relations between the two countries. The Ambassador of Venezuela H.E. Mrs. Orietta Caponi thanked BCCI for the invitation and wished successful development of the commercial relations between the business circles of Bulgaria and Venezuela. Ambassador Caponi presented Venezuela’s new economic development model based on economy productivity programmes. 

Svetoslav Gatev, Expert in Invest Bulgaria Agency presented the investment climate in Bulgaria, pointing out the country’s main advantages for business development and investment – stability and access to markets, qualified labour force, low taxes and fees, national programmes and funds.

Representing the Venezuelan business, presentations were made by the companies Santa Teresa (rum and alcoholic distillates, info@ronsantateresa.com), MariaBegoña González Álvarez (exports of fruits, embavenezuela@abv.bg) and Supracal (metallurgy and minerals, servical@supracal.com.ve).

The forum continued with bilateral business meetings.
