The two-day official visit of President Plevneliev and the business delegation accompanying him began in Argentina
The Bulgarian business delegation accompanying the Bulgarian Head of State Rosen Plevneliev to Brazil and Argentina arrived in Buenos Aires yesterday. The visit of the Bulgarian President went under the sign of the 85th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Argentina and was the first highest-level visit from an EU member-state after the election of the President of Argentina Mauricio Macri.
A meeting with the Bulgarian community in Argentina was held, during which President Plevneliev assured our fellow-countrymen that Bulgaria is developing and modernizing. The Head of State thanked Bulgarians in Argentina for preserving Bulgarian traditions and carrying out active enlightenment and patriotic activity, and assured them that the Presidential institution is engaged in the problems of Bulgarians abroad and will continue to support any patriotic initiative.
The Bulgarian entrepreneurs led by the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov also took part in the meeting.
