Argentine – Bulgarian High-Level Business Forum in Buenos Aires
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and the Deputy Chairman of Argentina Chamber of Commerce Manuel Ribeiro signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of the Bulgarian Head of State Rosen Plevneliev and Minister of Economy Bozhidar Loukarski. The Memorandum was signed during the Argentine – Bulgarian Business Forum organized by the Argentina Chamber of Commerce, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Argentina, and BCCI, which took place on 4th February.
Bulgarian President said that it is no coincidence that Bulgaria is the first EU member-state to pay a highest-level official visit after the beginning of the political changes in Argentina. “We have come with a clear goal and strategy – Bulgaria provides opportunities to Argentina to enter the wealthiest market and the biggest economy in the world, the European one, at the lowest cost”, President Plevneliev said.
The economies of the two countries were presented by the Bulgarian Minister of Economy Bozhidar Loukarski and the Head of Economy Department of Argentina Chamber of Commerce Matias Bolis Wilson. The President of BCCI introduced the participants to the investment climate in Bulgaria.
137 Argentine and 20 Bulgarian companies took part in the forum which continued with bilateral business meetings.
