1. New NGC Plans for the first batch of Year 2012
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Recognizing the rapid economic growth of developing and emerging countries,
while the ODA-graduated countries pursuing more sophisticated development,
AOTS now focuses more on specialized programs of New Global Cooperation (NGC)
to meet the changing and diversified needs of Human Resource Development with
a wide range of plans to benefit your needs such as renewable energy, energy
efficiency, business exchange and networking, and others.
The following three NGC courses are the first batch of year 2012 plan and we
are pleased to start to accept your application while more plans are to be
announced later:
(1) Introduction to Renewable Energy

2. AOTS Alumni Society - Sharing the same goal -

We believe that you tried to implement what you had learned during AOTS
training in your working place after returning to your country. Besides,
if you are interested in disseminating your knowledge and experiences widely
for sustainable development of your local community, I would recommend you
to contact your nearest AOTS Alumni Society in your country to join their
activities. We are sure that you will be able to share the same goal with
them.

--Introduction of the activities of AOTS Alumni Societies--
The Philippine Cultural and Technical Association of Returned Overseas
Scholars
(PHILCULTAROS) organizes management seminars several times a year. On 29th
November 2011, Inter-Cultural Communication and Management Seminar will be
held in Cavite and Laguna. This seminar is designed for Filipino participants
who work for the companies having business relationship with Japanese
companies,
to improve their business communication and relationships-building skills
with
their Japanese boss and colleagues.
In addition, the seminar for Japanese corporate executives and managers in
the
Philippines will be also held in Makati City, Metro MNL on 18th November
2011.

3. Let’s find your friends on AOTS Facebook Page

Following the first issue of AOTS E-Newsletter, nearly 500 friends newly
joined
AOTS Facebook page. Then, interactions among AOTS Facebook fan became
drastically
enhanced! A lot of messages and pictures are posted on the wall of AOTS

page. Some fans expressed the feeling of missing good old days in AOTS and

1)The Training Program on Green Logistics for ASEAN Member Countries (EALM)
-For the efficient logistics with the reduction of environmental impact-
We are now accepting applications!
Duration and Venue: 11-19 January 2012, AOTS Tokyo Kenshu Center (TKC)
Target Participants: Managers or staff/specialists who are involved in
logistics
or logistics management in their company/industrial promotion association in
ASEAN 10 countries (incl. Singapore and Brunei).

2)The Training Program on Industrial Wastewater Treatment Technologies (PIWW)
