OPERATIVE BODIES


SECRETARY GENERAL
Art. 29. (1) The Secretary General shall:
 
  1. organize the execution of the resolutions of the Executive Council;
  2. organize the administrative activities of the Chamber;
  3. fulfill the obligations of a Vice President upon absence of the latter, and upon explicit authorization;
  4. organize the execution of other current tasks assigned to him by the President and the Vice President(s).
  (2) The Secretary General shall be assisted by a secretary (secretaries).

COUNCIL OF PRESIDENTS
Art. 30. (1) The Council of Presidents is an operative body of the Chamber for promoting the System of the Bulgarian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
  (2) By right, the Presidents of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the President, the Vice President(s) and the Secretary General of the Chamber shall participate in the Council of Presidents.
  (3) The meetings of the Council of Presidents shall be presided by a Chairman, elected by the Council members on a rotational basis.
Art. 31. (1) The Council of Presidents shall:
 
  1. co-ordinate relations between the Chamber and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry upon execution of their joint activities;
  2. propose to the Board of Directors the establishment of joint funds between the Chamber and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry for financing allocation programs and activities;
  3. review financial reports on the joint activities of the Chamber with the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry;
  4. in compliance with their competence, make proposals to the managing bodies of the Chamber, referring to draft resolutions on certain matters of the joint activities of the Chamber and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry;
  5. approve proposals of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry to their members for co-ordination between:
    • - the Articles of Association of the Chamber and those of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry;
    • the names, logos, stamps and flags of the Chamber and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry;
    • the participation of representatives of the Chamber in the managing bodies of the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry;
    • other actions directed towards unification of the System of the Chamber and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
  (2) The work of the Council of Presidents shall be organized according to certain regulations.
